Well, our bbq was a success. I think every one who came had fun. There was plenty of food, some axe throwing, and for those who stayed a bit later we roasted marshmallows around a camp fire. I don't remember exactly what conversation brought about the sword play, but for those of you who couldn't make it here is a group photo.

To make this a little easier to update, we are going to try to putting the front page into blog format. This may also give us a way of doing a better contest, by taking it out of the format needed for the boards and putting it in a more standard web format. We are not sure how this will work out, or if it will make us update anymore often, but it's worth a try.

The Jack Point is a small business in Maine. We sell role playing games, ccgs, and other related items. Eventually, we hope to have a full scale online store here, where you can come for all of your gaming needs.


For now, we are using our web space to help bring the gaming community together. We host a forum (forums.theJackPoint.com) for people to socialize, organize games, get advice, and learn about upcoming events. We have also set up a small hosting service for any one who wants to have their own webpage (www.t-j-p.net).
